On the Ninja conversation, and on Deirdre Dolan’s previous work.

Dear Readers,

Today’s conversation is between Deirdre Dolan and Invisibyl Ninja. Deirdre is a contributing editor of Open Letters; her last contribution was her interview with Sarah Jones, way back in issue # 1, about being the most popular girl in the sixth grade. Invisibyl Ninja is the preferred pseudonym of her interviewee, a young tech-support guy at Earthlink. Deirdre and Ninja first encountered one another when Deirdre called up for technical help with her Earthlink account, an account which she subsequently abandoned.

Deirdre’s interview marks the conclusion of our week of work-related letters. Next week, we will return to our regular eclectic mix; the week after, though, we’re planning a week of letters about parents and children.

New subscribers: your first weekly PDF issue goes out on Sunday. Watch the mail.

Yours truly,
